How much false doctrine is too much?

I don't think you can have enough. I love it. Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Seventh Day Adventists, bring it on. Not to mention Once Saved Always Saved, 'theistic' evolution, and Peter being the first Pope. Cram all that false doctrine down my throat. Can I have seconds? You can never have too much false doctrine!

Agreed? How much false doctrine is too much?
The assurance of Divine protection from the fires of Hell must not be taken as some sort of license to sin. It is only a valid promise to Christians who heed the infallible Word of God in the Sacred Scripture:-

1. -Believe in the Son of God, lest you perish (John 3:16, John 3:18, John 5:24; John 6:40; John 6:47; John 6:55; John 10:28; Mark 16:15, John 10:9; Acts 2:21; Acts 4:12; Acts 15:11; Acts 16:31; Romans 5:9-10, Romans 10:9; Romans 10:13; 1 Timothy 1:16, 1 John 5:13)

2. -Be baptised, lest you perish (Mark 16:15)

3. -Eat the flesh and drink the blood of the Son of God, lest you perish (John 6:55)

4. -Avoid occasions of sin, lest you perish (Matthew 5:29; Matthew 18:8; Mark 9:44)

5. -Keep the commandments, lest you perish (Matthew 19:17; Mark 10:17; Luke 18:20; )

6. -Confess your sins, (and pray for one another), lest you perish (James 5:16)

7. -Do penance for your past sins (fasting, abstinance, mortification etc) lest you perish (Matthew 3:8-10, Luke 13:3-5, Apocalypse 2:5, Apocalypse 3:3, 2 Peter 3:9).

8. -Do good works to your neighbour (feed the hungry, water the thirsty, take in a stranger, cover the naked, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned) lest you perish (Matthew 25:31, Luke 10:25, Galatians 6:6)

9. -Lose your life in the Lord鈥檚 service, lest you perish (Matthew 7:21, Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24, Matthew 19:24-29, Mark 10:28, John 12:24-25)

10. -Take up your daily cross of sufferings, lest you perish (Matthew 10:38, Matthew 16:24, Mark 8:34; Luke 9:23; Luke 14:27; 1 Corinthians 1:18)

11. -Confess the name of Jesus Christ before men, lest you perish (Matthew 10:32-33; Mark 8:38)

12. -Take not up the sword, lest you perish (Matthew 26:52)

13. -Persevere to the end, lest you perish (Matthew 10:21, Matthew 24:22; Mark 13:13)How much false doctrine is too much?
ooh! ooh! you forgot the epistles of paul!

wash it down with some good old egyptian sacrament.
ask jehovahs witnesses they just love it-
Even a small amount of false doctrine will ruin otherwise healthy and true teachings.

The Bible says this clear in this scripture.

1 Corinthians 5:6-7 . . ..'' Do YOU not know that a little leaven ferments the whole lump? Clear away the old leaven, that YOU may be a new lump, according as YOU are free from ferment. . ''. .

Therefore if our religion is teaching pagan untruths AS truth , for example ''hellfire'' , ''the immortality of the soul concept'' and ''the trinity'' ,,any truth that we do observe is not acceptable.

The simple fact is that even a small amount of untruth will make both us AND our worship totally unacceptable to God.

EDIT - asking a question to an individual as a public question is classed as 'chat' and is against Yahoo terms and conditions for yahoo Answers.

I am not going to reply to it and break the rules.

However , If anyone has anything to ask me , they can email it to me in person.
I believe that the easter bunny is real too
Very Little
Assuming that their is a ';true doctrine'; and that God exists, wouldn't God have to bear the responsibility for creating the false doctrine? Or are you just going to argue your way out of this using the old ';free will'; argument?
I have a feeling (considering you left out some major denominations that are usually first to people's minds at these times) you are a Christian of some sort, correct?

I believe your doctrines are false.

But I still respect you (until you post things like this, decrying other beliefs but not your own).

However, false doctrine has become too much the moment you start believing any of it without thinking about it first.

-IMP ;) :)
Truth is one false is many.
Everything you mentioned was false doctrine, however respecting people is important.
I don't agree that easily.

for argument's sake, what is an authentic or true doctrine according to you?

because anything true to you may be false to others as others' truth is false to you.
I suppose you have the interpretation of scripture cornered do you? So did Martin Luther, John Calvin, Joseph Smith, Charles Russell, etc. etc. all claim sola scriptura that scripture itself doesn't even teach. This doctrine alone brought us the sad state of affairs of people interpreting the bible who think they see something there that nobody else saw. These are men who claim they can interpret scripture better than those early Church Fathers who believed in apostolic succession, the bishop of Rome as the head of the Church, (though they didn't use the word Pope which means papa. How do you think Catholics came up with the Pope in the first place?), Sacred Tradition and some of whom were taught by the apostles themselves. The Early Church Fathers wrote letters to the Churches leaving a record of what they taught just as the apostles did that found their way into our bible. These men mentioned above were false teachers that have lead many away from the Church that Christ established. This interpretation of false teachers is closer to what scripture says about men who will lead people away teaching things that iching ears want to hear. Unfortunately the reformers threw the baby out with the bath water in trying to clean up the corruption of ';MEN'; in the church. To study early church history and the early church fathers is to cease being Protestant.
I never rule out anything. I ingest what they say and decide for myself if there is any validity to it. Most times there isn't, but I still give the benefit.
Well, until you arrive in hell forever and burn and never die.
because,

Nothing (no-one-thing) is everything

Everything is nothing

wrap your mind around that.
2000 years worth?
