Is the Trinity an false doctrine?

';In the 55th verse of Surah Al 'Imran, we learn that Allah will place the people who follow 'Isa (as) above those who disbelieve until the Day of Rising. It is an historical fact that, 2000 years ago, 'Isa's (as) disciples had no political power. Christians who lived between that period and our own have believed a number of false doctrines, the chief of which is the doctrine of the Trinity. Therefore, as is evident, they will not be able to be referred to as followers of 'Isa (as), because, as it says in several places in the Qur'an, those who believe in the Trinity have slipped into denial. In such a case, in the time before the Hour, the true followers of 'Isa (as) will overcome the deniers and become the manifestation of the divine promise contained in Surah Al 'Imran. Surely, this blessed group will be made known when 'Isa (as) returns again to earth.';

I would like to read the Quran but I don`t know where to buy it or if it is a true online Quran for free.Is the Trinity an false doctrine?
Remember that we're talking picture language here.

';The Trinity'; is an attempt to put into a simple word-picture the wonderful complexity of God, whose nature and being is far beyond the capacity of our human language to express. At different times we might experience God as creator, or as brother, or as the mysterious power within ourselves - as at different times we experience water as solid, liquid or gas: whether it is ice or water or steam, though, it's all still water underneath.

';The Trinity'; is not a mainstream biblical concept because it only came into being as a means of expressing faith after a great deal of thought and meditation during the early Christian era. Like all word-pictures, it was intended to help our understanding on a simple level of a much more complex reality.

(This is not a reason for discounting it: remember that it took a long time to understand that slavery was contrary to a deeper understanding of scripture than was at first apparent from a casual reading.)

If you read the opening verses of Genesis and the opening verses of St John's Gospel side by side, you may see two attempts to express the belief that a God who was powerful enough to create the world and all that is in it still cares for his creation sufficiently to come and live here himself, and be subject to the limitations of human living and dying. If you read on through the Acts of the Apostles, you may see how they believed God the Holy Spirit enabled them to fulfil their potential as ambassadors for Christ. Is the Trinity an false doctrine?
You are going to believe the account of one man from the Quran which is hundreds of years after Jesus than Jesus himself fulfilled prophecy about Christ from thousands of years of writings from prophet of old and the followers of Christ and the multitude of people who witnessed Christ and even secular history of that day has recordings about Jesus Christ. Stop being deceived by the false teachings of Islam Christ is the only way.
I would recommend you to buy at least two Qurans if you need the translations. The english language or any other language would not translate the exact arabic words of the Holy Quran, so cross-referrencing with another or others would show you a more clearer picture.

P.s- with alot of prejudice and discrimination going on at this very time, the internet is a scary place, so finding a reliable website that DOESNT take advantage of those who dont know what the Quran says, will take you quite abit of time. So go to an Islamic bookstore or something and you'll find loads.

Peace and blessings. :)
The doctrine of the Trinity is a conclusion of an understanding of the Christian Scriptures. Of course the Qur'an does not accept this truth because Muhammed was exposed to heretical Christianity existing in the Arabian peninsula of the 600's c.e. so he absorbed only distorted view of this central Christian teaching. Islam is actually more closely alligned with Judaism in stressing the monotheistic nature of religious faith. The understanding of God as three persons in One God stems from the revelation that Jesus gave his disciples. He spoke with his Father(God). He promised a Comforter(Spirit) to lead to all truth. Jesus did works(miracles) and replaced the teachings of the Hebrew Scriptures with his own teachings, something God alone could do. Jesus' followers heard him say that ';I and the Father are One';. Yet they also knew that he lived among them as one like us. This is the tremendous power of Christian Faith. If God would become one of us as God did in Christ, then in fact human nature is of priceless value. God and Human in a Single Being is the Incarnationwhcih we celebrate at Christmas. The fact that Jesus could do this and teach that whoever saw Him saw the Father reveals the fact that God is bigger than human understanding. We humans, who are made in the image of God at creation, are now invited into the fuller image of God in Christ. Islam had been influenced by Arianism, Monophysitism, and Monothelitism as well as a past filled with the polytheism of the ancient Arabs so great stress was placed on the absolute Oneness of God. Islam might teach that Jews and Christians corrupted the revelation given to them by God but the same charge could be leveled at Islam. Merely quoting the Sacred writings of a religious group does not convince outsiders of the validity of one's teachings. Only the accordance of religious Faith with reason and the gift of grace will move a person toward the embrace of any religion. I believe in Christianity because if God is Love then in fact there must be more than one person to practice love. Islam does not accept the analogy of being which makes it possible for humans to understand God in a limited way because somehow God's Truth is reflected in our experience. If I say that God is';

Father'; I accept whatever likeness human fatherhood offers to my understanding but I also deny whatever limitations human fatherhood might impose on God. The great spiritual writers spoke of the Cloud of Unknowing in this process. What I believe is that God's truth which is limitless can somehow be reflected in a limited way in human understanding. The followers of Jesus had no political power for the first three hundred plus years of the existence of Christianity so they grew in spite of opposition from both Jew and Roman. Their lives made sense only because the God they worshipped understood powerlessness and suffering because Jesus was True God and True Man.
Yes, because Jesus told us it was in The Apocryphon of John. Be smart, believe Jesus, not christians
No, it's the Truth.

';So wherever you go, make disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit'; Matthew 28:19
I guess I'm what ';they'; call a non-trinitarian Christian. I look to Jesus Christ for my salvation, but I believe that He is a separate entity from His Father, to whom I pray.

My feelings on this comes from the Gospel of John- chapter 17. Jesus is praying in the Garden of Gethsemane.... Who is He praying to, if not another Being?

There are a number of other passages in the bible that illustrate this idea-

Jesus at one point, says that He comes to do the will if His Father who is in heaven... At that time, Jesus was definitely not in heaven.

When Jesus went to His cousin, John, to be baptized, He was in the water, His Father was in heaven, and the Holy Ghost appeared traveling between the two.

I know that Trinitarians will disagree and have their own interpretation, but I guess that's the beauty of this experience- we get the opportunity to make our own choices, to believe as we each see fit, and to learn how to get along in spite of those differences.
Try reading 'why trust the Bible' by Amy Orr-Ewing, she talks about such things.
2 billion say it is, 3 billion say it isn't. Shall we settle it with a tug-of-war?
Just because you wish not to understand it does not make it false.

If you cannot even grasp the trinity concept, I don't know how you could ever justify to yourself that Muhammad was a true Prophet with the life he led.

But each to their own!
The Qu'ran is not in agreement with the word of God that preceded it. Moses taught of the trinity and it is the image of God that we are created in.

Gen 1 God says Let US create man in OUR image.

Gen 2 God forms man from the dust (flesh) God breathes life in to him.(spirit) and man becomes a living soul.

Man is more than flesh above the animals and in the image of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit being made more than flesh but also having an eternal spirit which makes man above the animals who perish with their flesh.

God is ONE God Father. Son and Holy Spirit. We are One man body and spirit and are a living soul.

The Qu'ran teaches that Alalh is the God of Abraham and that allah agrees with the previous word of God and the prophets of God...Please read the word of the prophets of God and see this is not true. The Qu'ran says Jesus is Messiah we know that Jesus is the Messiah because he fufilled the prophsies of the Messiah. The prophesies of Messiah are that he would atone for sin. Isaiah 53 and this scripture Christ himself said he would fufill. This scripture was available for Muhammad to read but he clearly is not in agreement wtth it as he says Christ did not. The Qu'ran teaches Allah will mislead who he chooses to mislead.

14:4. And We sent not a Messenger except with the language of his people, in order that he might make (the Message) clear for them. Then Allâh misleads whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

The Qu'ran also says

4:157 . That they said (in boast), ';We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

That people were mislead to believe in the crucifiction.

They were made to believe this.

consider how long between the crucifiction till Muhammads book? 600 years people were decevied by God to believe int eh aotnment that was promised by God 800 years before in the prophsies of Isaiah which Christ himself agree to fufill.

600 years Allah allowed people to be deceived and be born and die believing in a salvation he now claims is a lie.

This is not the God of Abraham my friend but the serpent that lied to Adam and Eve.

God is a righteous God and he does not agree with sin nor does he overlook sin and call that which is sinful holy.

God knew man would sin and he had a plan not to join man in sin but to bring his creation to his righteousness. God came to teh world as a man to man's penalty. The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. Jesus is the way to the Father and is the only way he paid the price and made the way.
Call the Oneness of God what you will. In the OT we Read that God is One. In the NT we ate still taught this but while so doing the Father is called God. Jesus the Son is called God, as will as the Holy Spirit. All three are called God. It is clear that these three are not one person, yet the Bible is clear there is One God. Remember as I explain that God is all aspects is an infinite Being..

The dimension of space are height, width and breadth. Each of these dimensions is infinite and by that definition each contains all space. Yet these dimension make up one space.

God is like that each is God all the God that can be because Each is infinite yet these Three are the One true God... Jim
i think the trinity is wrong. you can go get one from the mosque for free, but i don't trust the internet, people have many lies on here. you can also go to a muslim store to buy it. actually htis one store close to where i live has a website where you can buy Qurans. i think it is halalco.com or org. if you can't find it then look for it on google halal co
I think the best think u can do is find out which is the nearest mosque in ur area. Once u do that u should go in and they will be very happy to help u and offer u some books about islam, these books r free of charge and will help u to understand more about islamic religion. U can also search islam in the web, or quran online.

trinity is a false doctrine. In islam we don't associate partners with Allah, it is a major sin to do that.

may Allah guide u.
Quran 18:86 “(Zul-Qarnain travelled till) when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: near it (sun in spring) he found a People” http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/018.qm…

Quran 20:53 ';he (allah) who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out'; http://www.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/020.qm…

Quran 86:5 YUSUFALI: Now let man but think from what he is created! 6. He is created from a drop emitted-; 7. Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs:
Your question is moot, since it appears you have already made up your mind.

The Bible offers argument to whatever basis and interpretation you use from the Qur'an. Matthew 28:19: ';Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'; , and also 1John 5:7–8: ';For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father (God, who created everything), the Word (Jesus, who came to earth to spread God's message to the masses), and the Holy Ghost (which is present in all of us) : and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.';

These are only two of the many references that the Bible makes to the Trinity. To use the Qur'an as a basis to argue the validity of christian theology is flawed reasoning. It is like using apples to disprove the existance of oranges.
yes its very real...see Matt 28:19
The Trinity-Father,Son and the Holy Ghost according to Don Mclean in his song ';American Pie'; had caught the last train to the coast. They had gone away to woohooland and never gonna be coming back for yooooou...........!
No it is not. In the old testament the verse. '; hear Oh Israel, the Lord our God is one.'; Was changed by the Jews that rejected Jesus. It should read. ';Hear Oh Israel, The Lords our Gods are one'; That means they all agree as one. They all come from one. They all are one.
no where in the bible is there amention of the word trinity.it is a babylonish teaching which has been adopted by some christian religions amongst others.how can 3 people be one thats impossible.
I am not Islamic, but I still do not believe in the doctrine of the trinity. Just because a doctrine has been around for a long time, does not mean its correct.

The bible teaches Jesus created the heavens and the Earth. Jesus said before Abraham was I am. This is the word God used when Moses asked him, who he was. So the point is Jesus is definetly God manifested in the flesh but his pre-existant form was what people call God the Father. But the bible says the fullness of the Godhead bodily dwells in Jesus. So this means God and Jesus are one and the same. I understand the holy spirit to be the power of God. So these supposedly 3 seperate parts are not really seperate at all but one.

To believe in the trinity means they're 3 seperate distinct parts of God, but yet they're all the same God. The trinity really points to 3 Gods rather than one, when the bible explicitally states there is one God. If God the father, lacks the power of the holy spirit, then he is not totally God.

The reason for so much confusion, is the enemy wants people confused about the indentity of Jesus.
No it is definitely not.
i am apostolic pentecostal and alot of people call us Jesus only. because we baptize and well, do everything in the name of Jesus. as the bible commands. i do not believe in the ';trinity'; which was a doctrine made up by the catholics. go to the BIBLE the written word of God. what better place to start? i will only list the bible verse and explain as to not be too lengthy. matt 28: 19 does say the name of the father son and holy spirit. they are titles not ';names';. who is the father? Jesus. John 5:43, who is the son? Jesus. John 20:31, who is the holy ghost? Jesus. John14:26. Jesus IS the father son and holy ghost. john 14:10-11, John 10:30, jOHN 14:8-11, jOHN 14:15-20, jOHN 14:25-27, II corinthians 5:19, deuteronomy 6:4 (one of my favorites) HEar o Israel the Lord our God is one Lord, and Isaiah 9:6. PLEASE take the time to read these scriptures for yourself. pray to God and he will show you the way you need to go, he hears each and every prayer you send up to him. hope you find what you are searching for.
i can help you through these sites.i hope you 'll be beneited with them www.wathakker.com,www.wathakker.net,www.… %26amp;there are some emails:msjabr@hotmail.com,info@ipc-kw.co…
Short and to the point:

Yes the trinity is a false doctrine, because it has no Biblical foundation what so ever. Never does the word Trinity appear once in the Bible, and the Trinity would need the backing up of three ';individuals'; to be true.

But there are only 2, God and Jesus, the Holy Spirit is not a person its just that many people get that confused because they personificate it several times in the Bible
A Christan is a person in the Christian bubble of delusion, and like with other bubbles of delusion they are the only ones who cant see how ridiculous (and in the case of Christians, repulsive - go to www.evilbible.com ) their beliefs are despite overwhelming evidence otherwise.

www.godisimaginary.com

God like to see people stoned to death and says that if you hit a slave and the get back up again then its alright because they are your property.

They are delusional, atheists are sane, come to their own conclusions, and when they do good deeds it is out of kindness instead of some sick need to get something back out of it when they die.
no it is false. christians beleive in it b/c they are told to. i have a teacher that i asked to explain it. she said she couldnot. she told me it is hard to explain and that no preacher or minister can explain it. another christian teacher of mine said that it has no logical or mathmatical reasoning. she countinued to say that a guy , i beleive by the name Arius (a christian), said that the trinity was nothing more than god, jesus was the messanger.

the christian leaders called it a herisy and moved on with thier false beliefs.
Yes. According to the trinity doctrine, ';there are three co-eternal, co-equal persons, the same in substance, but different in individuality. There are three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Now these three are truly distinct one from another, and yet they are all one.';

Is such a teaching found in the Bible? No. Nowhere in the Bible will you find a single verse that says the Father, Son, and holy spirit combine to become one God. There is not a single scripture that says the Three are co-eternal or co-equal in ANYTHING. If you don't believe me, go ahead and look. You won't find it.

One scripture trinity believers will TRY and use is Matt. 28:19. But in that verse, does it say that the THREE are co-equal and co-eternal and combine to make God? Not even close!

TRUE Christians don't believe in the unscriptural trinity.
religion is a false doctrine.
Surah 4

171 O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him.

So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not ';Three'; - Cease! (it is) better for you! - Allah is only One Allah.

Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.
