can't just say christians....cause many religions have ';bad churches'; in them. always blame the church, not the book. For each religions book is pretty stable....its the churches that preach it that are unstable.

No, because Jesus appeared to Saul in the road, and this doesn't change anything, it is how people take that apparition and try to turn into something of personal gain, Saul who changed his name to Paul, did not use it for personal gain and in fact was killed in the end because of it. Not really. How did he know that who he saw was Jesus? What was the proof? And was the man that had the vision on street drugs or even prescription drugs? Was the man dreaming?

It justified slavery in Rome, America, Mexico, Asia just to name a few and today in america it justifies everything our government does when it wants to get something done. Even though church and state are suppose to be seperate. Wanna ban smoking? Pull out the bible and say its hurting our kids, get all the churchs to rally behind you and now you increase taxes which have put more money in the governments pocket and little none back to our kids.
