How do I get over the realization that I preached a false doctrine for over twenty years ?

I preached ';Holiness or Hell'; using a sign on the back of a bicycle. I have found out that there is no such thing as an eternal hellfire. One way I found this out was my ';unsaved'; father died with absolutely no fear of Hell or any concern about eternity, even when he knew his time was near. My stepmother had three heart attacks a year ago and survived, but again she had no fear of Hell. The other way I found out is that the Bible speaks often of the wicked being destroyed at the Last Judgment, in the mean time there is reincarnation. I have recently adopted this belief.How do I get over the realization that I preached a false doctrine for over twenty years ?
Be thankful that God has opened your eyes to the truth and do what you can to bring others to the light. Eternal torment is a disgusting and perverted doctrine which has caused untold pain to others and you now have a chance to help right the wrong.How do I get over the realization that I preached a false doctrine for over twenty years ?
Just because your relatives had no fear of Hell, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Ignorance is bliss. And there is no single mention of reincarnation in the Bible. When the Bible talks about the wicked being destroyed, it talks about the wicked being thrown into the lake of fire. It sounds like you were on track before, but the devil has gotten you off track -- remember he is the great deceiver. Get yourself back into the Word, ASAP.

According to Scripture, Lucifer was cast out of Heaven into the eternal fire, and that is where all the wicked and evil souls go. Try reading the Book and paying attention to those annoying things called DETAILS.
Odd, all this time I thought you were a 'fire and brimstone' type of believer. It seems you're going to have a quandary the rest of your life which you may never get over. Will your beliefs change again in the future when faced by a loved ones dignified death?

If Jesus is not your source of your belief then all is vanity, let the word of God be true in your life. Many believe in hell and many that don't, It is the belief in Jesus Christ that will keep you out. all other beliefs are vanity.
There are many references to hell in The Bible and there is no reincarnation.

First let me called you lucky, very fortunate for -you had /have so brave , holy Father , step brothers and so on.





Please sake of all Mighty do not weigh or compare you living or dead relatives with your belief. You belief may be totally wrong and hope less.





Fundamentally, we all need to be God loving and not fearing - if you believe in God and whoever may be your God.





This is the good mental attitude of Good or bad people ( per society standard ) ; they are sure what they are doing and have done and what they will be doing and ready to face the out come in the present life.


Why to worry ? We are the masters of our self- and slavery - All are free from hell or heaven.
