The group's leaders CLAIM to be a prophet... certainly no one should continue to follow them after so many failures... and it is a lot more than 4 or 5, 9 if I remember right,and that is just on predicting dates and claiming Jesus has already returned, quite a contradiction to 2Peter 3:7ff. which describes the END of the physical realm at Jesus' return.





2Peter 3:7 BY GOD’S WORD THE HEAVENS AND EARTH OF TODAY ARE BEING RESERVED FOR FIRE. They are being kept for the day when God will judge. Then ungodly people will be destroyed.


8 Dear friends, here is one thing you must not forget. With the Lord a day is like a thousand years. And a thousand years are like a day.

More than a century ago, Jehovah's Witnesses recognized the bible truths that hell is not hot, that the soul is not immortal, that God has a personal name, that Jesus is not Jehovah, that most humans will be resurrected as humans, and that God's Messianic Kingdom will restore paradise to earth and end the suffering of humankind.

Amazingly, those ideas remain tightly and uniquely identified with Jehovah's Witnesses. Some enlightening regarding details has emerged in 130 years, but it is a silly exaggeration to pretend there has been ';complete changes of doctrine'; (such as those mentioned above).








Jehovah's Witnesses have never pretended that they are infallible or inspired. Jehovah's Witnesses have never pretended that they experience miraculous messages from God or Christ. For more than a century, Jehovah's Witnesses have always presented their suppositions as the result of sincere bible research, rather than as ';predictions'; or ';prophesying';.





Interestingly, however, even those Christians who did enjoy direct communication from heaven at times came to wrong conclusions; these wrong conclusions were even communicated ';out among the brothers';!





For example, the apostle Peter enjoyed remarkable privileges in the early congregation, but it seems that he was the source of an incorrect teaching about the apostle John that was not formally corrected until several DECADES had passed, and John himself finally wrote his gospel about 98 C.E.





(John 21:21-23) Peter said to Jesus: “Lord, what will this man do [that is, the apostle John]?” Jesus said to him: “If it is my will for him to remain until I come, of what concern is that to you? You continue following me.” In consequence, this saying went out among the brothers, that [the apostle John] would not die. However, Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but: “If it is my will for him to remain until I come, of what concern is that to you?”








Jehovah's Witnesses apply the term ';prophet'; only in a very limited sense to themselves as a religion, not to individuals. The Scriptures indicate that whenever Jehovah purposes to execute judgment upon a people, he always makes arrangement for a 'prophet's work' as a warning. Their self-description as a ';prophet'; (in this limited sense) does not indicate special inspired knowledge or foreknowledge, but their willingness to perform Christ's assigned warning work in our day leading up to Armageddon.





What group is working harder than Jehovah's Witnesses to preach God's message globally (as Noah did before the Deluge)?

If there is a religion on the face of the earth that has


made enough mistakes to get attention, then first of all,


there is no way they could have been where they are unless


they came out of a heaven and hell religion and began to


work their way into the word that has never been worked


out before. This is sure to make these believers angry.





The religion that does this can be 60% wrong and be 100%


correct, it can have dozens of people that know of many


things being wrong [ these people are guilty and can not


participate in the wrong ], but the ones that do are


innocent until they know they are wrong and change it


and some times that takes time.





Anything is better than the heaven and hell belief.


So these people seem as wrong as those that they came out


from them and started searching for better, but if heaven


and hell belief system is wrong, these in it are going to


support it as it is their religion, the one that came out


of heaven and hell belief, can not be worst where they are


than where they used to be.





IT TAKES YEARS TO KNOW THAT THE BIBLE IS MORE THAN A HEAVEN


AND HELL BELIEF. SINCE WHEN IS THE ONE WITH NO THREAT OF


HELL BUT SPEAKING OF A GOD WITH A NAME AND THE SAVIOR HE


SENT NEAR TO THE SALVATION PROMISED, WORSE THAN HELL


BELIEVERS.

USE THE WORD RELIGION TO IDENTIFY THEMSELVES WITH.WHAT HAS


RELIGION DONE FOR MANKIND?

husband.

Basically if I was at a church with false predictions I would be out after the first one.
Do we change our belief that Jesus Christ will rule the earth during 1000 years and transfrom this planet in a paradise? No..


then if this is false can you prove it with the bible?





Do we ';change'; our understanding that hell is not a place of torture and is not the same of the lake of fire? that means second death according to the bible? No..





Do we change our point of view of only supporting God´s kingdom as the solution of all problems of mankind, and now we are supporting politics? No....





Do we change the command of Jesus Christ of preach the good new of God´s kingdom cause it is easier tto do nothing? no...





Do we change the point of requesting tithing (10% of the income) cause we want the money of the flocks even knowing that that was removed by Jesus ´s death Nisan 14 Year 33 C.E and as many ';Christians'; Church do? No.....
New light has been shed on some principles and all humans on Earth are imperfect right now. Enough said.
