Can you be “one” with someone who believes in false doctrines?

This is a very interesting question. I don't think anyone is completely ';one'; with his or her partner anyway; however, the issue of doctrine does tend to push a wedge between people. I believe two people wanting to stay together should have a common quest for truth; however, I do not believe that they should have to accept the same truths at the same time.

The better question is whether or not you can be one with someone who refuses to budge from his or her current ideas. If new evidence or experience enlightens this person, will he or she reject it, even if it is true? With that person, you cannot be one because that person is involved only with himself or herself. Can you be “one” with someone who believes in false doctrines?
Absolutely not!Can you be “one” with someone who believes in false doctrines?
No
No
If you believe in them yourself, yes.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: ';I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.'; 17 ';Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.'; 18 ';I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.';

2 Timothy 2:23 Don't have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24 And the Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 25 Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

Here is a good chapter to read for this.

2 Timothy 3

Perilous Times and Perilous Men

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

The Man of God and the Word of God

10 But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, 11 persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
NO
Of course you can. Jesus taught a doctrine of love...this above all else. Love thy enemy....

I dare say not one of you who said ';no'; shares IDENTICAL doctrinal beliefs with each other...yet you are all here together...

the apostles differed on many doctrinal matters, sorry if that is so hard for you to believe.
i think so. my wife's and my religious beliefs are not identical, and we can't both be right. However, my love for her transcends these differences of opinion. No two people hold the exact same beliefs or interpret every thing the same way. Our love for eachother and for our children is what makes us ';one';.
