Protestants/ Pentecostals, why do you desperately blame bible to support your false doctrine? ?

You know that your sleep theory is wrong. You claim that a human being died is falling to a deep sleep until the day of Christ, which even Christ himself does not know. So, according to your theory, howsoever devout a person maybe, his life comes to an abrupt end by his death with nothing to do here or there. He has no memory for centuries, may be for millions of years. His resurrection comes after such a long period, which even Christ himself does not know. If we are going to sleep for millions of years, why should we bother to think what happens thereafter? Let anything happen! If we have nothing left at death, it is better to live as we like and forget Jesus and God. Let anything happen when Jesus comes again!

Truly, your teaching is hopeless and anti scriptural. Here is the verse, which kills your anti-scriptural teachings:

Luke 23:43 - And he said to him, ';Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.';

Since you have no way out, you have now found that the ';comma'; was after the word ';today'; and not before. Bible was translated to each language with utmost care since there should not be a small error. The comma is put appropriately and that is what Jesus meant. But you have dared to call Bible wrong, for your anti scriptural teachings. You are twisting each verse like this, which is making Christianity degraded before others.

The essence of Christianity is ';hope in death';. If there is no hope in death, Christianity is rubbish. Your doctrine says, there is no hope in death, while Jesus says, we are there with him the very same day of our death. Read this and think of your false doctrines:

Acts 7 (55-59): But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God; and he said, ';Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing at the right hand of God.'; But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together upon him. Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him; and the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul. And as they were stoning Stephen, he prayed, ';Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.';

Protestants/ Pentecostals, why do you desperately blame bible to support your false doctrine? ?
I'm not sure what your ramblings mean exactly but I am Pentecostal and I understand the Bible in it's entirety. The verses you have quoted here are among my favorites and I have no problem with them.

Pentecostal doctrine at no time and in no way says that there is no hope in death. You must have some sort of hate or prejudice against Pentecostals ..... obviously, you do not know what you are talking about.

Pentecostals believe the Bible and we base our beliefs on the understanding that we will be with Jesus upon our deaths. People seem to think that Pentecostals are stupid, ignorant of the Word and that Pentecostalism is is some sort of aberrant belief system. Nothing could be further from the truth.

You would do well to research the religion that you are bashing before you come on Y!A and make yourself look ridiculous.Protestants/ Pentecostals, why do you desperately blame bible to support your false doctrine? ?
I am Pentacostal and I think you need to reserch before posting your questions. We worship and praise the Lord for all that he has done for us an pray that he will help other people, no matter what their religion.
you r so burning in everlasting hell for being a sumbitchin judgemental piece of nonforgivin scat, im so glad im so better than you cause ';I'; dont judge craphead morons like YOU!!!
what are you smoking?
ummm, i'm a protestant and i've never described death as a deep sleep till Christ returns. i don't know about you, but i died to myself when i seriously started following Christ. i guess my physical death doesn't really matter anymore. besides, time is relative. who says they sleep for centuries waiting on Christ's return? maybe it's a blink of the eye for them.

i'm a firm believer that we'll figure all that out when we get there. right now we need to be concerned with how we live our lives on earth - loving, giving, sharing, encouraging, teaching...being Christ.
The BODY dies. The SPIRIT lives on.

Everybody dies in the body but not in the spirit. Upon the last day (judgment day) our resurrected, remade body will be rejoined with our soul. If we forget God/Jesus in this life we would have no hope for the next life. Only those that believe in god can be saved. Forgetting about God doesn't equate to following god and being a Christian. he body of those that go to Heaven will be in perfect condition-without fault. You did some research so please consider these verses too.

Revelation Chapter 20:4-6. ';The saints shall reign with God '; ';Then I saw the souls of those of those.....'; See it? The souls. Now read v.6. They were already in Heaven--in spirit.

Matthew 25:31-46. I'm not going to write it here so please read it. It shows that God will COME BACK to earth to JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD.Please read this c.chapter %26amp; verses.

The disciples asked Jesus who would be the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. Jesus once told the people that people would go to Heaven just as they saw Him (resurrection %26amp; ascension) go to Heaven. This obviously has to happen when all eyes can see it How and when can all eyes see it? By the majesty and power of God on the last day. Someone like Hitler would see someone like Billy Graham going to Heaven.

There is a lot more that I could point out. I suggest you read all of it and reconsider your theory. You may want to talk to a major denomination minnister for more info.

Arrogance is never a Christian attitude.

The Holy Scripture is a mine of knowledge.

Daniel 12:4 ';But you, Daniel, close up and seal the words of the scroll until the time of the end. Many will go here and there to increase knowledge.';

It is the faith of every Christian that he would go to be with Lord Jesus Christ the moment he leave his body on his death. How would it be the stature of the soul till the day of resurrection is another aspect debated.

What do you think of your sleep at night?

Why you are not bothered that you sleep almost one third of your life time?

Some animals in polar region sleep for months together and wake up to continue their next 'day'.

If it is God's plan that the soul would be in a deep sleep at the bosom of our Lord till the day of resurrection, I don't find it anything meaningless to be so. A short sleep or a long sleep doesn't make any difference if the sleep is sound and undisturbed.

Have you undergone any surgery under anesthesia? Do you remember how long you had been under the anesthesia? I think a deep anesthetic slumber of 1 hour or 10 hours doesn't make any difference.

I am not arguing it would be a deep slumber after death till the resurrection. If it is another world of enjoying happiness of great peace it would be God's plan only.

But I don't think it would be a life in heaven, watching the perils and pains of our dear ones down on the earth.

To my logic resurrection would be a waking up to meet our dear ones departed ( 1Thes 4:13 . Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope Lord Jesus Christ ....the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.). It has been a great desire for apostle Paul to look forward to the day of resurrection.( Phili 3 :10. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.)

Dear brother in Christ, it is our great hope and expectation that our Lord will come. We are not supposed to look forward to a death from this earthly abode, but for the appearance of our Great King and Lord, to meet Him.

All those who are dead, and if we die the next day, we to joining with them, would rejoice together along with those transformed on the day of resurrection on the Day of our Lord. How great would be that joyous occasion!!

Halleluiah!!!
