Christians - How do you recognize false doctrines?

Isn't it NECESSARY to ';judge';, in order to discern? (Seeing that MANY people, (I think erroneously) say ';thou shall not judge others';)

What serves as your guide for TRUE doctrine?

Does Christ hate false doctrines?Christians - How do you recognize false doctrines?
A person isn't 'judging' when he sees that a doctrine or religion goes against the scriptures and the teachings of the Apostles whom Jesus left in care of His church.

As for the guide for TRUE doctrine, I say it's the Bible.

Yes. Christ hates false doctrines!

Jesus went through painstaking events in order to leave to the world an opportunity to have the TRUTH and Satan decided to change that doctrine with falsehoods, rituals, paganism and lies in order to gain more souls for himself all under the pretense of Christianity.

God Bless YouChristians - How do you recognize false doctrines?
Only God judges people. But we are called to look for wolves in sheep's clothing. That means doctrines that are supposedly accepting Christ as the saviour outwardly, yet reject the teachings and claim Bible as a false or incomplete work are all false doctrines. Examples of such doctrines are quran, gita etc.

So we are called not to judge people, but to be wise and be crafty enough to see through the sheep's clothing to know the wolf inside.
By the spirit.
Of course Christ hates false doctrines. Judging and being wise can sometimes mean the same and different things. Yes, we can judge as a christian. I'm out of pornography now, so when i see someone in it now, i try to get them out.
All doctrine needs to be judged according to all the scriptures and its context. (Acts 17:11)

First, we need to look at this from a legal standpoint. The Bible is a Testament, that is a legal document. God is Judge--again, legal. There is the Law, consequences for breaking such, as well as ';witnesses'; and ';advocates';. There is also an accuser that is at work to condemn. All of these are legal terms that are wrapped in the spiritual.

In the ';judge not'; quote, basically that means to stop being a witness to the gospel but rather push the Judge off of His seat and proclaim the defendant guilty. This is the practice of ';excommunication'; practiced by some religions and most cults. However, there is another kind of judgment that seeks to ';question a witness';, that is, to see whether or not someone who claims to be Christian, or even claimed to have once been a Christian is a genuine claim. This we are exhorted to do. This is acceptible judgment according to 1Cor. 5:12...

For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside [the church]? Do you not judge those who are inside?

We then become witnesses to those who are genuine and those who are impostors.

However, on the other side, we are commanded NOT to judge those who are not, and never claimed to be a Christian. This is a job for the Judge and the Judge alone. The next verse states clearly... ';But those who are outside God judges.';

So there we see that the most we can do is just proclaim the truth. If it is rejected, we nod and go our way and pray accordingly. However, in the case of someone calling themselves a Christian, but their fruit shows otherwise, we are commanded to shine a light to expose the works of darkness accordingly.
By watching TBN.
Whatever does not line up with the Word of God!
Our Spirits recognize truth.

Yes, I would say Christ hates false doctrines, especially if it leads his sheep astray.
Why do so many people conceive of judgement as an inherently ';bad'; thing? People make ';judgements'; every day. Using the Word as the ultimate yardstick for measuring some new ';doctrine'; simply makes sense. For example, when some fool claims to be Christ and takes a swan dive off the roof of a 23 story building (this actually happened in 1979) and makes a hell of a mess on the street below, it's very safe to judge that he believed in some false doctrine. And yes, Christ hates false doctrine(s). His people, filled with the Spirit, simply ignore strange people with some laughable ';new'; doctrine. If it doesn't conform to sound biblical doctrine, it's not worth the paper it's written on.
False Doctrines are abominations to Jesus %26amp; God.

False Doctrines may look good, sound good, but the fruits of their doctrines are not sound nor are they at their heart Biblical.

When Jesus says, ';Judge not, lest you be judged accordingly.';

He meant we do not have the right to judge, such as: I know this person will go to Hell and this person will go to Heaven.

Judgment in that sense is passing down a life or death verdict on anyone and we can not know this, we can not do this, because that decision and sentence is ONLY for God Almighty and Jesus Christ.

Now Jesus does say we are to judge(assess) people by their works.

He does not mean pass sentence upon anyone, but, for instance, if a person SAYS:

';Ohhh yes, I am a Christian, and they carry a Bible, have a WWJD pin, attend church every time the door opens, dress appropriately, and are esteemed in their town, and have wealth...

BUT outside church, they live in bars, abuse alcohol/drugs, have sex with other people not their spouse, physically/emotionally abuse their wife/children, disrespect their parents, cheat and steal in business, do not forgive anyone who has hurt them or mistreated them, intentionally or accidentally...

Jesus says, looking at THEIR works, their actions you will know them. This person may SAY he is Christian, but his actions and his works, and his deeds show him for the liar he really is.

From this, you would assess (judge) this person to not be a true Christian and while we are expected to pray for them, we are not to commune with them for our own protection until they truely change their ways, repent, and their home life, family life, and work life reflect it.

YES, Jesus hates false doctrines, so much so, He says, ';It would be better that you tie a millstone around your neck and throw yourself into the sea, than to spread false doctrines that will mislead %26amp; lead astray ONE seeking, unsaved person.';

In Revelation, Jesus adamantly offers the reader and teacher of Revelation a blessing and a curse. You receive a blessing from just reading Revelation. But anyone who reads and then twists Revelations to their own purposes and teaches that twist to people they will be cursed and their name can will not be recorded in The Lamb's Book Of Life.

Now that does not mean the earnest person studying the scriptures and putting forth their opinions on what it might mean and/or what it means to them, but for those who read Scripture and KNOW what it means, but PURPOSEFULLY twist it to suit their own doctrines.
any doctrine that confesses not the son of God...Jesus...is false
