I believe that you are referring to Deism. There is no terminology that I know of. This is just a frame of mind that many people have. Like God has more important things to do than worry about me. No, God knows every hair on our heads. He knows every sparrow that falls to the ground. Nothing escapes his eye. He cares, He cares deeply. People just are self centered and they do not care so they think God does not care either.
. God cares about every little sparrow that drops.


I suppose he slipped up a bit on these last few earthquakes and hurricanes.

I believe that is called Deism. I am not sure.
